Well who would have predicted that, over 15 inches of snow in Colby, Kansas on the last day of April.
The whole town ended up getting shut down along with surrounding towns and counties.
the crew found it highly entertaining to wake up and see the white fluffy stuff falling from the sky, even more entertaining for our guys from Zimbabwe who had never seen snow in person.
The first couple of inches didn’t seem too much of an issue but then it just turned and before we knew it we had over 15 inches and the drifts were nearly 4ft deep in places.
After the storm had passed we were treated with a pretty amazing sunset but with the knowing that out plans to move south had been put back a few days.
